A Little Bit About Us

Our Story

Humankind Health Consulting, LLC is a minority owned business that started with the idea that health plans and population health programs can produce results when the focus is on people. Common problems in healthcare, wasteful spending, low quality of care, expensive health care, etc. contribute to the poor health of populations and misuse of the healthcare system.

The passion of providing employers with transparency, better quality of care, and overall lower health care cost drives Humankind Health Consulting, LLC to use evidence based approach to health plan management.

Social Determinants of Health

Forging Equity in Health

Health equity refers to the belief that everyone has an opportunity to attain the highest level of health. Inequities are created when barriers, such as transportation, healthy grocery stores, etc. are not easily accessible. To achieve health equity we must identify and close those gaps. Working with employers we can achieve this with your employees.

Social determinants of health are defined as the conditions where people live, learn, work and play that affect health risks and outcomes. Identifying the prominent social determinants of health for your population will allow for adoption and participation of health strategies.

To improve the health of employees the identification of the support systems and barriers to participation in healthy behaviors is key to understanding how to implement interventions.
